You see some branching in the cave, leading to a few livable rooms tucked away. Some of the crates have false bottoms with some skeletons in them while others were concealing the horrid smell of decomposing bodies in various states. There is a fire pit off to a side, as well. Nothing that's all of: usable, moveable, not highly dubious.
Also, you are now certain you can't make it in time before the blizzard, but you can make it a decent portion of the way. And there are a couple more caves if you want.

Third cave is:
This cave tunnels back in a sort of S-shape. (Re: Ideal for hiding in.) It has nothing of note, beyond the innermost part of the S branching into a few different areas, each of which someone could spend the night.
