"One of the riders must have carried one of these things for the exchange mentioned in Vrood's journal; the exchange is likely for this 'Raven's tongue.' Of these items, it could only be the Seasage Effigy; its taking is not mentioned in the poem. Some members of the university's antiquities department thought it was an idol of some sort."
