I think we can all agree that FBW needs a little 'oomph' to get us into the story and the world. I for one can't really tell the difference between the various players in my party, and as an aloof character it may be hard for me to stand out as well.
I'm sure we've all fantasized at some point of having custom figurines, or full artist renditions of our characters, but this is too expensive. As this forum's most pbp centric campaign however, I think it'd be a wonderful substitute for us to each have custom avatars. Using Fiverr, this could only cost $5 per person. That shouldn't be a feat for anyone to come up with, and if need be some of us could help others with the cost.
Here is the listing for avatars on Fiverr. I think it'd be cool if we all used the same person so that we have a consistent style, so feel free to point out some good ones and maybe we can vote on it.

These two are more drawing oriented and are awesome but I don't know how much $5 would get with them.
So, thoughts or ideas?
