After defeating the Mi-Go invasion and killing the Dark Young below the lake, the party returns to the surface of the lake. As you resurface and climb onto Croon the Crackpot's ship, you realize that Elsbeth has not returned. You wait, and go over what you've found below the bay, but she doesn't return. As it nears dark, you are forced to head to shore. That night, Akiani and Kendra are unnoticed leaving or returning because of smart use of Dimensional Steps.
She has not returned the following day, and you are forced to leave her to whatever fate has befallen her. The town of Illmarsh is as unfriendly as ever, the deaths of its priesthood and disappearance of its mayor having done little to improve its attitude towards outsiders.
Teleporting to Thrushmoor, you are able to get a Heal for the nameless woman. While her grasp of Taldane does not improve, she is no longer suffering from any insanities. Bill and Minerva are willing to take the infant child in. What happens with the nameless woman is in your hands.
It takes four days of travel to reach Caliphas, where the noble Adivion Adrissant, the man who has been pulling strings, appears to reside; he remains largely unknown to you. It is also where Akiani's father Caromarc said he would go to investigate the Caliphasean nobleman. However, Akiani's father cannot be found, and he does not answer the Attentive Mirror. There has also been a series of murders lately. The victims are found with their bodies drained of blood. The curious part is that their bodies are always found before dawn, and are said to be destroyed when the sun rises.
Finally, while one is certainly not going to find high end spellcasting services like Wish or Miracle, they might with a little digging be able to find a spellcaster willing to use a workaround to fixing a cursed item that is just as good.

You have leveled up to level 11; you hit level 11 when the woman received a Heal.
