This is the guildhall of the newly formed League of the Runic Hand, founded by Louise shortly after Drezen was captured. A call was sent out for mages who desire to be on the front lines of the crusade to organize. While those who have signed into the guild may not be the most experienced, they are committed to the crusade. The preserved head of the Shachath that killed Louise is mounted on the inside of the main entrance, over the front doors.
While Louise was responsible for getting the guild started, and often uses the hall's facilities, Ellen Nylund actually handles more of the day to day workings of the guild. The incubus D'Ziriak is kept here, protected from the outside and with daily castings of undetectable alignment, until such time as he is able to handle himself outside.
