Driso calls for you the next day. When you arrive, you see multiple other groups. Driso then begins, "Wild animals have lately been harassing our scouts, forcing us to travel in numbers everywhere. I'd like to end that. I'm sending you out in groups of five to kill the various predators. All of you who already have your assignments, get to work." As everyone else leaves, he turns to you. "You'll head about a mile into the woods to the northwest, where you'll find a Grizzly Bear cave. I'd rather that bear die before it gets much more of a taste for our flesh, or we might just end up with a Dire Bear..." Well, good luck.
The cave entrance is about 15x15, and curves off to a side, restricting view. Perception checks, please.

You can hear the bear moving about in the cave, but only faintly. How do you guys move in?
EDIT: also, initiatives, and your first actions (with any conditions on them, as needed)

The bear appears, initiative 20, but you got your stuff our first.
It charges, triggering ALL your readied actions. It aces the reflex save, but the grease does slow it. Lynx, Vulthen, and Zephyr, attack as it then tries to attack Lynx, missing due to suddenly being unable to see (it had a 20 for 11 damage). Also, Lynx's AOO, please. Then you all get a second turn because the bear missed.

You all carve the bear into pieces. Go ahead and RP for a bit while Empire fights some Undead. More RP after that.

Zephyr pulled a rag out and began to wipe the blood from his sword, before replacing the sword into its sheath. "I wonder what's been causing these wild animals to be attacking like this. It's quite unusual for a bear to attack people."

When you return to base, you see Driso worrying over some papers. "But if they weren't all soul gems... but there had to be more.. where could they have gone? And what's with this threat against the Temple? ... Well, at least Lord Umbra is coming around..." He notices you. "Oh, hi! How did it go?"
