The only skeleton in a 5' step's reach of you was already destroyed. Ruling that you moved 10 feet next to the passage. Anyway, you missed.

Jacob advances, attacking with one claw (8 to hit, 6 damage).
With what little he can do possibly mattering, Linebeck shoots his crossbow (13 to hit, 5 damage). Seems like it didn't matter after all.

"Die in holy fire!"
Loric casts Disrupt Undead, succeeding in spellcasting after sheathing his sword. Ranged touch into melee: 10 to hit for 5 damage

Zombie takes 5 positive energy damage. Zombie tries to go through Jacob, but fails. Also, provokes an AOO from him. And everyone else, turns as well... finish it.

As you leave the caves, you see a moderately injured Grenth standing over the frozen body of a white dragonblood male, indeterminate age. Grenth looks up and says "Excellent work. I was afraid the necromancer wouldn't show. He had these symbols on him... Do any of you recognize them?" He holds out two strange symbols, a weird chain, and a few scraps of paper. Religion, Arcana, and History rolls if you want to know and aren't one I mentioned. Adrestia recognizes one of the symbols Associated with the Five Mages, though the body isn't of any of them Warden recognizes the other symbol, and the chain The symbol is the one found on the attackers of Frozeover. The chain is spoken of in Frozeover lore as part of a two-part set that makes undead less dead and more mortal. Oros recognizes some of the papers They're from some tomes the ancients referred to, now thought long since lost forever.

After the battle is over, Raijin says "Well, that was fun...at least they didn't get much of an opportunity to attack us eh?"
Once the group met up with Grenth, he started to examine the unusual objects.

The colour drains from the face of Adrestia as she notices the symbol, mind racing as to what connection this male has with this symbol. She hesitates slightly, before addressing Grenth "Its the symbol of a group of mages calling themselves The Five, or The Five Mages, the group I requested information on, I would consider them a very dangerous group", she says, as her voice trembles slightly. She upholds the symbol again "I'd like to keep this, if you don't mind?" she asks Grenth

Maxim: one of the symbols (not the one Adrestia just spoke of) is an unholy symbol, but you don't know anything else about any of it. "... Oh. That lot... Sure. But first..." He casts a spell and concentrates on Adrastia. Spellcraft check. The DC is 15 The spell is Detect Magic "Huh... looks like there's a whole lot of curses on you... seem to be all set to trigger on a key phrase... I can remove most of them over a few days; come to see me tomorrow and I'll remove as many as I can."

"Heh... One could say that a dire Fate befell him!"
"We know naught of his life, family or intentions. Yet, through his actions he was set to be slain. By Grenth himself, no less. This means that Fate is a greater threat than I've thought ...or ignored... so far. I don't understand the big picture yet, but someday I shall."
"...but that can wait until it becomes an urgent matter."
