Hey, Fortuna!
How’s it going, little sis? Gods, this feels so weird, actually writing to you for the first time. Sorry I didn’t write early; there’s been a bunch of crazy shit happening in Drezen lately.
In any case, I hope you’re holding up ok. We really didn’t get enough time to talk before; I promise when I get the chance we’ll do more catching up. How have things been in Kenabres? Hope you’ve been getting along ok and kicking ass like a Paz should. I really have to say, if I didn’t before, I’m proud of you, alright? You were so timid when we were kids, and now you punch people in the face. I never thought I’d get the chance to feel like this...
As for me, like I said, lots of crazy shit. You’ve probably heard by now that we’ve retaken Drezen and all that. We took down a buncha demons, this huge-ass dragon, even a bunch of kobolds with guns, can you believe that? Never thought I’d find other gun-toters about! Plus, we’ve made some new friends. There’s a kobold I met, his name is Jekkajak, he does magic shit and I’ve seen him bring two people back from the dead just like that, no joke. Then there’s this halfling I met; we started off really rocky but now we’re like best buds. I even met the woman who saved my life after the flood!
It’s...not been all good, though. There’s been a lot of rough times. Louise—you know her, the human sorcerer who was with us when we found you?--she got thrown in lava, she tells me. She got better, though, although she ain’t human anymore. Same thing happened to Timeor’s dad—Timeor’s the guy with the goatee and the dinosaur. His dad, also, got better, thanks to magic. I’m starting to regret not learning the arcane arts myself; this using scrolls and wands shit is unreliable as all hell.
But...well, I don’t know if you met her, but Galfrey introduced us all to a tiefling woman named Cynthia. She and I go way back; we trained together in Kenabres as kids and—oh, no point in hiding it, we’re totally an item. I was thrilled to see her again, I mean really happy to hang out with her, but when we were retaking Drezen, she...she got possessed and kidnapped by this bastard demon. I need to get her back, but I don’t know how, and when I think about it I get all super depressed—well, more depressed than I SHOULD be getting, if that makes sense—but I don’t know why and

This is general notes about ellena's backstory that have been revealed to certain party members, so I know whats common knowledge, and what has yet to be revealed
-Most of the Party knows that shes the sister of Titus
-Riq and Louise are aware that shes mythic, and that she got her powers from Arshea
-Louise and Atticus are aware that she heals one person each day at the hospital
-Riq knows that Ellena loves to dance + visit clubs, as well as being aware that she was once under the control of unknown people or persons.
-Most of the Party is aware that Ellena does not know where Titus is, or why he left.
What remains to be discovered
-Why she doesn't wear armor
-Why she became a Paladin
-Why she worships Arshea
-Details on who she was controlled by, and circumstances involved.

It's good to hear from you! Sorry for not writing sooner - the rebuilding of Kenabres has taken up a lot of my time. Well, defending it has.
I've been doing alright. Really good, in fact....I just wish you were here. It was so good to see you that day - you probably saved my life from that weird demon thing. It looked pretty ugly.
As for crazy stuff...you aren't kidding. I guess I'd have to see it to believe it, heh. This Jekkajak person sounds pretty cool, for a kobold. I trust your judgement, so if you say he's on our side, I believe you. Though what did you mean about kobolds with guns? Also, you HAVE to tell me more about the woman who saved you - I'm not sure I even heard that story!
As for learning magic, don't sweat it! As far as I know, a fist and a bullet work just as well as any magic missile. I prefer both!
And yeah, I heard Galfrey was in town shortly before you left. She took command of the city for a while, but she left not too long ago. Apparently, there's a storm brewing. Rumor says she wants to be in the middle of it, for good or worse.
As for Cynthia...I didn't know her, but cheer up. I'm sure you'll find her eventually! Everything will turn out for the best in the end, I'm sure of it.
I have faith in you, and that you and the rest of the Heroes of Drezen/Kenabres/The World can finish this thing! Close the Worldwound!
I gotta run, though, Tom doesn't like to be kept waiting Duty calls!
